8-rail CETMArack

The rack pictured on the left was the very first CETMArack.  I built it one night
in my garage as sort of a goof without knowing if it would be useful
or practical.  I learned very quickly that this front rack was useful
to say the least.  Heavy, but useful.  Carried two file-boxes on it the next day
and the rest is history.

The first few sold for $40 and had a built-in bottle opener in the back fence.

Dumptruck in SF had the second CETMArack and purportedly carried his
daughter around on his.  I think he still uses it.

6-rail CETMArack

This WAS the famous 6-rail CETMArack. The platform measures twelve by
twelve inches, or roughly the size of a record album cover. The back is
about ten inches tall. This used to be the most popular of all CETMAracks.

These 6-rails were indestructible, but unfortunately a little heavy.
I discontinued them when the new 5-rails made them obsolete.  Waaah!!!!

ABS CETMArack

This platform is made of sealed masonite and laminated with a skin of durable ABS.
The platform is secured to the steel rack with stainless steel rivets. The low-profile fence

ABSsm CETMArack

This rack is built the same as the mid-sized ABS CETMArack above, but has
a narrower platform for smaller loads like a single bag of groceries, for example,
or the typewriter you just found. The flat platform is made of sealed masonite
and laminated with a skin of durable ABS plastic. It is secured to the steel rack
with stainless steel rivets. The low-profile fence keeps freight central while still offering
a stable, flat surface for oversize cargo.

Not for sale.

with a skin of durable ABS. It is secured to the steel rack with stainless steel rivets.

The railing is two inches high and will allow a standard bungee cord to pass under.
